How much would it be worth if you could magically turn every single employee of yours into the most performing worker in the history of your company? How much would it be worth if you could magically change the mindsets of all your staff into your own business-minded one in order to drive your company forward like never before? What if there was a way you could change your current staff into one that outperforms the expectations of your customers, competitors, and even your own self? When you hire for any role, moreso in any role of great responsibility and control in your business, do you not look for people who are of the same mindset as your own, i.e. people with a mindset of constant improvement, profit increasing, problem solving, cost-cutting, SWOT analysis, etc.? To keep your company in existence in this day of global competition with cheap foreign currencies and with a global society that is desensitized to many marketing tactics, you are doing all you can think of to stay alive and, hopefully, take whatever market share you can from any others in whatever capacity. You are cutting expenses, cutting your revenue bleed by creating process efficiencies, implementing two and three round interviews to avoid time and revenue loss from hiring the wrong people. But even with all this you are not conducting the most important tactic that will guarantee your business all of the tactics listed above that you are already doing, and even many more that you are not. You should be ensuring that your workers are working as two or three people and not reluctantly, but in a way that pushes them to want to work for you as two or three people and push your company to succeed. Tapping into your most powerful resource, your current workforce, is the most cost efficient and time efficient way to not only ensure your business survives, but also to ensure it thrives even when your competitors are dying in an inhospitable economy. It is the fastest and easiest way to double and even triple your company’s manpower.
Ignoring the power to exponentialize your workforce is like owning a high end luxury sports car but only driving it at 10% of its potential speed. You have a trove of power and capability with your current staff, and no other staff is needed to be hired. The capability you have in your current staff is more vast than you realize, but in order for you to tap into this resource you must be able to unlock it.
Psychological research has shown us for a long while now that money is not the best motivator when trying to get more out of your employees; in fact, sometimes it is not a motivator at all. The best way to motivate your workforce is to give them the power to advance as employees in their skills, and as people in their characters. And the most effective way to do this and ensure such changes are permanent and do not fade with time is to restructure their entire way of thinking.
By increasing your current workforce in this manner you unlock the power of their maximum performance. Like Michelangelo setting the sculpture free from within the crude block of stone, the entire potential of all of your workforce will also be freed and used to improve and advance your company in all areas, e.g. cost control, market penetration, threat resolution, process efficiency, etc. Your workforce of 100 becomes a workforce of 200 or 300. Whatsmore, all of this is accomplished without hiring a single new staff member and without increasing a single salary. Also, without spending any more of your effort or putting in any more of your already never-ending and exhausting work hours.
Ensuring your staff has the support and tools to become the most effective employees by resetting their cognitive structures, their strategic foundations, their way of thinking so they can become far more capable, powerful and engaged employees, be they stakeholders, management or non-management, is the only way to ensure their performance is maximized completely; doing so affords you a far grander staff of all levels of your company to push and fight for your own business and advance it to heights you could never have gone to before, due to the limited thinking and vision of your staff.
Whether your company is extremely successful already, or somewhat successful, or barely surviving, or even failing, regardless of the reasons, your staff of three or 10, or 50, or 100, or 100,000 are only able to perform to the best of their current mindsets. Whether those mindsets are extraordinary or debilitated, they only allow your employees to perform to the best of their current thinking strategies. The people cannot achieve certain goals because they cannot see things they have not been wired to see. They will forever miss issues, opportunities and threats that lay outside their vision. However, if you were to teach them vastly differing ways of thinking, of seeing things, of forecasting things, of utilizing strengths and strengthening weaknesses, they would have an entirely new way of seeing and acting upon things; their mindset would be completely rewired so they can in fact ensure they perform at their maximum potential so they do not miss issues, opportunities and threats that lay in your company’s path because they have a dramatically expanded vision.

Ensuring your staff is always completely engaged, empowered and challenged is the way to ensure their loyalty is dedicated to advancing your business, and to ensure they remain happy employees who will remain with you and grow with you. Resetting the minds of your workforce is the key to maximizing their performance for your business; it is the key to thinking and performing like the greatest thinkers in history across the world. Doing so shows your staff that you are committed to them, and they, in turn, will be committed to you, and to the success of your business.
